Two Educational Outcomes Awards for HBAED
Harris Boys' Academy East Dulwich has received two educational outcomes awards from SSAT, the schools, students and teachers network - one for being in the top 20% of schools for student attainment in 2017, and the other for being in the top 10% for student progress.
This is the second year in a row we have received both these prestigious awards.
Top 6% nationally
Our Progress 8 score for 2017 of +0.73 puts us in the top 6% of all schools nationally. We are also one of just 102 schools across England and Wales where students eligible for free school meals perform as well or better than other students.
Sue Williamson, Chief Executive of SSAT said: "SSAT is pleased to recognise the quality of leadership and the hard work of all staff to ensure the success of every child. A big thank you and well done to pupils, parents, staff and governors."
The awards are based on our excellent results in 2017 using data from the Department of Education and Ofsted, analysed by SSAT. Harris Boys' Academy East Dulwich will be presented with their awards in the summer term at a ceremony attended by winners from across the region.
SSAT is a network of school leaders and innovators that aims to learn from peers, measure improvements and celebrate each other's achievements.
