The HBAED Library is the Place to Be!

Students at HBAED were enjoying the Library today, with Year 7 exploring our new collection of books and Year 11 busy revising for upcoming mock exams. 

Herbie and Jacob in Year 7 (pictured below) are reading a new book called Black Horizon, which in their words is ‘really interesting’! It’s a science fiction book about a boy who has to join a special forces group after his father dies. They specialise in rescue missions and it leads him into all sorts of dangerous situations.

Yvan in Year 11 loves reading Manga because of the concepts and the artistic elements. He tries to recreate it in his GCSE Art. "The stories are so unique, the progression makes it appealing as it always leads to the next story," he says. "There is not really an end to the story and I love that!"
