Academy Structure

The Academy structure has been designed to ensure that pupils have access to as many emotionally-available adults as possible. We want pupils to know that there is always someone they can talk to if they need support in any way.

Pupils feel happy and safe in our Academy because our structure ensures they are fully supported both academically and pastorally.

  • Pupils are allocated to a tutor group within their year group. Each year group has a Year Lead who helps support pupils with any pastoral or learning issues they may encounter.
  • Years 7-9 are overseen by an Assistant Principal responsible for KS3. Years 10-11 are supported by an Assistant Principal responsible for KS4. 
  • In addition to this, we have four Behaviour for Learning Leaders. They support with any day-to-day issues that pupils might be facing.
