Student Leadership Attend Sustainability Conference

Our student leadership team were proud to represent the school at a recent student conference on sustainability.

Leon and David, our Head Boys in Year 13 and 11 respectively helped chair the sessions where students discussed actions that their schools and communities could take to become more sustainable. The boys are now taking their ideas back to the student body at HBAED and agreeing actions to help the school reduce it's carbon footprint.

One change already implemented by student leadership this term was the automatic turning off of all computers at night to save on the school's usage of electricity. The event was kindly hosted by Hatfield 15 and formed part of the calendar of events run by the Southwark Schools Learning Partnership.
