HBAED Students Lead at Sustainability Conference

Our Year 10 Student Leadership Team recently presented their project on how to improve sustainability at a local level during the annual Southwark Schools Learning Partnership (SSLP) Student Voice conference.

Their Sustainable Cooking Club project was developed in collaboration with students from other local schools including Dulwich College, St Thomas the Apostle College and Elmwood Green. 

The project proved to be the most popular with the delegates at the conference and the students are now looking forward to launching their sustainable cooking club on Wednesday afternoons. Well done to David, Stanley and Abdurrahim (pictured below) for their work on the project.

"We have worked on the project all year and are very excited to go ahead and launch the programme this summer," said David. "We truly believe that improving education around sustainable cooking and eating can make a big impact on climate change." 

Well done to all the boys involved and to Ms Cunningham for her support.
