Our Sixth Form students embarked on an exciting journey to Meta's cutting-edge office in King's Cross, immersing themselves in a day filled with insights, technology, and networking opportunities.
The visit kicked off with a panel event where industry experts shed light on the latest trends and innovations. Students had the unique chance to engage in meaningful conversations and gain valuable perspectives from professionals at the forefront of technology.
One highlight of the visit was an exclusive peek into the Meta ELEVATE mentoring programme, where students had the opportunity to hear about its impactful initiatives. The programme aims to elevate individuals by fostering mentorship relationships, providing a glimpse into the possibilities of personal and professional growth.
The futuristic aspect of the day unfolded as students eagerly tested Meta's newest virtual reality (VR) and mixed reality (MR) headsets. These cutting-edge devices transported them to immersive worlds, showcasing the incredible potential of augmented reality in various fields.
Adding a stylish twist to technology, students also got hands-on experience with the latest Meta Ray-Bans, blending fashion with augmented reality seamlessly.
