Wealth Management Insight Day for HBAED Sixth Form

Three of our Sixth Form students were delighted to be given the opportunity to take part in a Wealth Management Insight Day for students from various sixth forms.

The event was organised by ACE Insights (a City network of young apprentices) and was hosted by Bordier & Cie PLC, a leading Wealth Management business.

Joakim, one of the students attending the event, said: "Going to Bordier was an incredible opportunity and experience. We got to meet the CEO of Bordier, learn of where he came from and how he became who he is today, a truly inspirational person.

"With the assistance of the ACE Insights team, we took part in sessions with various different leaders and individuals working at Bordier in the financial services sector. They showed us how broad the world of finance is as there are so many different jobs that you can go into.

"We also learned the benefits of degree apprenticeships, which we were advised by the CEO and other individuals to consider as a possible alternative to university. At lunch, we even had a chance to converse with the different individuals to go into further detail on their jobs and giving us advice on what to do.

"This was a beneficial event and we were extremely lucky to get the opportunity. Overall, I feel more educated about the financial services sector."
