Year 10 Reach Enterprise Challenge Final
A huge well done to our Year 10 Enterprise team who this week pitched a brilliant idea for 'Knock out Nash', their new branded ethical, environmentally-friendly hot sauce, to a panel of industry experts including Levi Roots!
They had battled through the heats to get to the final of the City Pay it Forward Enterprise Challenge 2024, which took place in front of a room full of over 200 guests in the prestigious Draper’s Hall in The City.
Despite not winning, the team of George, Sean, Joel, Marcos, Dami and Seth represented the Academy incredibly well. Well done to all the boys, especially Joel, who Levi said he would invest in personally!!
The team competed against 20 other teams to make their way to this final round, where they competed against teams from Harris Sutton, the Ockendon Academy and The John Roan School.
The panel of judges was headed up by Levi Roots and he was joined by Seema Malhotra MP, Peter Gladwin and Naushad Jivraj. Although they were beaten to the top spot by the girls of Harris Sutton, the students from HBAED competed with enthusiasm, charisma and confidence.
Levi, the well renowned and successful entrepreneur, said that he would personally like to invest in Joel! The judging panel praised our students on their presenting ability, innovative idea and their professionalism.
