GCSE Drama Trip to the Bush Theatre
On Wednesday 11th December, Year 10 GCSE Drama students had the opportunity to attend a live performance of Wolves on Road at the Bush Theatre.
This gripping play dives into the world of cryptocurrency, exploring the high-stakes decisions, moral dilemmas, and relationships impacted by this modern financial phenomenon.
Combining sharp dialogue with innovative staging, Wolves on Road offered our students a unique perspective on contemporary issues that resonate with their generation.
The trip was a fantastic success, thanks to the organisation of Mrs. Okai and the support of Mr. Rhodes. Students were inspired by the production and came away with new ideas and insights to enhance their GCSE Drama studies.
What students said...
“The play was fascinating! I loved how it showed the risks and rewards of crypto trading, but also how it explored the human side of it all.” Holly
“Seeing a play about such a modern topic was incredible. It really opened my eyes to how drama can tackle big issues in such a creative way.” Kamil
A huge thank you to Mrs. Okai for organising the trip and to Mr. Rhodes for his support. This unforgettable experience has certainly enriched our students’ appreciation of live theatre and its ability to engage with the world around us.
