Year 12 Students Win LSE Enterprise Competition
A team of Year 12 students from Harris Dulwich Boys and Harris Sutton today won the LSE Generate Enterprise competition at the London School of Economics.
The LSE Generate programme gives students an opportunity to immerse themselves in real-world business and entrepreneurial scenarios, undertake live start-up challenges and hear from inspirational speakers from a diverse range of professional and personal backgrounds.
Our students were fantastic. This was a very high profile event and our students' idea and presentation about a sustainable solution to fishing waste was outstanding. Their prize is an internship at LSE for all members of the winning team. Congratulations to Syeda, Phoenix, David, Rehan, Hector, Zahid, Kevin.
We hope that, following their success, we will be invited back next year, with some of this year's winning team involved as mentors.
LSE is one of the leading universities in the UK and we are very fortunate to have such an opportunity to work with them.
