After last week's cancelled fixture temporarily and wrongly knocking us out of the first round of the cup, a second chance was given to us by the competition organisers.
Therefore it was only right to make sure of the victory and this was done within the first five minutes of the match. A strong performance was a necessity after a lacklustre display cost the team the previous match.
Harris Battersea were on the rocks from the first whistle and only managed to get into our half several time during the whole match. With the strike force exploiting defensive errors to win the ball back within the '10 seconds' demanded, the team camped themselves in the opponents half of the pitch and rained havoc on to the keepers area. Dylan scoring four, Tyrell securing a hat-trick, while Idris and Daniel managed to finish off excellent attaching plays in front of goal.
Several chances went missing throughout the game with Jesse, Idris and Dylan making contact with the woodwork rather than the back of the net. A strong performance and some excellent build up play was impressive by all of the players.
