Football - HBAED 8 Charter 1

Last night the year 8 boys took on Charter in a friendly game. We flew out the blocks with John Bangura showing great pace and a lovely ball across the box for Gibril to open the scoring. Mukhtar making his debut then upped the confidence of the boys scoring our second after a great cross from Tyrell. Gibril then had a speculative effort from the edge of the box saved from the keeper. Connor  then slotted home from a corner to put us 3-1 up at half time.

Straight after half term Gibril scored a worldie from 30 yards to put us 4-0 up. Despite Charter pulling a goal back we still maintained control and dominated throughout. John  then scored with a great finish on the turn to put us 5-1 up. Gibril then finished off his hatrick, with a great long strike from Tyrell  crashing in off the post and Aziz with a great individual goal.

Many thanks to Luke Nowers who refereed and selected Gibril as our man of the match, quoting ‘the boy has a raw talent and looks dangerous every time he has the ball.
