Harris Federation Next Steps Event, Weds 23 March, 6-7.30pm

To prepare your son/daughter for their future, whether that is after Year 11 or after Sixth Form, an information evening has been arranged to take place on Wednesday 23 March 2016 from 6pm – 7.30pm (last entry is 7pm) at Harris City Academy Crystal Palace, Maberley Road, London SE19 2JH. 

It is imperative that students start to investigate their future options at an early stage.  Their future career may include work, apprenticeships, school leaver programmes, higher and further education or a gap year. The evening has been arranged to provide information and advice to you and your son/daughter to help you explore the options and talk to providers directly. 

We are very fortunate to have over 60 universities, employers and career organisations from around the country exhibiting at the Careers Fair which will be running throughout the evening. In addition, we have a number of talks taking place alongside. On the reverse of this letter is a provisional list of exhibitors and seminars. 

This event is of great importance and it is essential that your son/daughter attends.  Parents and Carers are also invited and will find it informative and very beneficial, enabling you to support your son/daughter make decisions about their future.

Please note there will be no parking on site during the evening. It is advisable to use public transport or make use of local residential roads.     

This event is for Harris students and their parents and carers only.  We do hope you and your son/daughter will attend.  Please note, to be admitted in to the event Year 11 students must wear their full Academy school uniform and sixth form students must wear their ID and lanyard.
