National Junior Indoor Rowing Championship

National Rowing Championship 3 (5)

On Friday the Year 7,8 and 9 boys went to the National Junior Indoor Rowing Championship at Lee Valley in North London.

It was an early start as we arrived at Lee Valley ready to go. This was a tough competition with our Year 7 boys rowing for the first time. An excellent performance from Ethan saw him finish 8th in his race. Another outstanding performance on the day saw Jerry finish 5th in his race, which left him ranked 34th in England, very impressive.

The performance of the day saw Jordan finish 4th in his race, leaving his standing as the 22nd best rower in England for his age. Overall the day saw a lot of potential for our boys as they worked hard, behaved well and enjoyed the day. Massive thank you to Jonathon Manning for supporting the trip.
