Careers Quiz for Years 7, 8 and 9

Careers 13.3.17Sudents at HBAED took part in different activities last week to raise the knowledge and understanding of career options and future pathways. 

During lessons, teachers started their lessons by discussing with students the different career opportunities that are strongly linked to their subjects. This was received well by students and stimulated many career related discussions.

Ten questions

In addition, students in Years 7, 8 and 9 took part in a careers quiz. They were issued with a ten-question sheet covering careers topics from apprenticeships and the National Minimum Wage to universities and salaries. 

The answers could be found on laminated sheets hanging around teachers necks. There were over 20 fully correct entries, and winners will be drawn in assembly this week.  Well done to all those staff who contributed to a very fun and successful day!
