Special Careers Talks for Year 10

Careers 2This term, Year 10 students have been coming to careers talks led by staff with experience outside of teaching. 

This week, students learned about first jobs and medical insurance from Mr Bray and about working in politics from Miss Dos Santos.

Through these talks and Q&A sessions, students continue to build on their knowledge and understanding of different professions, employers and workplaces. 

They are also developing their understanding of some key aspects of professional life such as transferable skills, application processes and working conditions. 

Thank you to all those staff who have volunteered, and well done to the students for their excellent attentiveness and contributions during the sessions.
