2017 Sixth Form Results Best Ever
Harris Boys' Academy East Dulwich has just celebrated its best A Level and BTEC results ever. We are very proud of how well our students have performed.
The vast majority of our students have progressed on to higher education at university. They obtained places in universities across the country and one student is even studying in the USA. They are soon to embark on a wide range of interesting courses including Law, Economics, Biology, English, Sports Science, Business, Computer Science and Graphic Design.
Some of our students chose the apprenticeship career path instead and secured competitive placements in engineering, ICT, hospitality, the military, and the music industry.
Regardless of their route, our students have taken the next major step in ensuring a wonderful career and future for themselves. We wish them every success and look forward to them visiting to tell us all about their continued successes.
A Level
The new linear A Level courses are very demanding and our students have worked exceptionally hard to combat these challenges. They have pushed themselves and taken difficult A Level courses in Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, English Literature, Psychology and many more. Special mentions to:
- Jake Mitchell - ABC
- Stewart George Miles - ABC
Vocational (BTEC)
Our BTEC courses require tremendous dedication and commitment throughout the two years in order to complete large amounts of challenging work. Our students have studied a whole range of courses focused on Sport, Business, Media, ICT and more. They worked very hard to meet this demand and even surpass it. Well done all.
HBAED's overall performance in vocational courses far exceeds last year's national performance. We are very confident we will again exceed the national average this year when the data is released.
