Outstanding Effort, Attainment and Progress - Boys Honoured with Certificates
At the end of the Spring Term, I was given the privilege of leading a series of assemblies that celebrated the success of our pupils. Certificates were awarded to pupils who had been nominated by different subjects for showing outstanding effort, attaining outstanding grades or making outstanding progress. It is a testament to the hard work of our boys that so many certificates were handed out.
As well as this, we reviewed how well pupils from all year groups have progressed through our ‘Positive Pathway’. Whenever our boys represent the qualities associated with HBAED, they are awarded Harris Points. As these accumulate, they pass through various boundaries of our ‘Positive Pathway’. It was my pleasure to hand out bronze and silver star lapel badges to pupils passing through boundaries 3 and 4 – no more waiting in the dinner queue for them! All in all, it was a lovely way to end a very successful Spring Term.
