Record Medal Haul at Harris Federation Sports Day
Our athletes have broken our own school record in the hardest Harris Federation Sports Day to date, officially coming 3rd out of 23 schools and claiming a record medal haul.
Having won the Central Heats by more than 100 points, we had 33 qualifiers for the events across four year groups, which was one of the highest out of all of the academies. This was some achievement as every event now has qualifying distances, heights and times.
As a PE department we have been thrilled to see the improvement in our athletes over the past three years and to now break into the top three is a huge achievement.
Our students have been more focussed during athletics training sessions and a great feeling of pride for our academy has built into a fantastic achievement on the day. Our boys are a real credit to us all.
