Year 13 Results Day 2019 - Students Celebrate Success

Congratulations to our Post-16 A Level and Level 3 Vocational students who received their hard-earned qualifications today.

We're delighted that nearly 90% of our students are off to university with the remainder in apprenticeship programmes or employment for September. The number of successful Russell Group applications has also increased this year.

Particular congratulations to: Rayyan (pictured above with Mr O'Leary) who achieved AAB (A* EPQ) and a place at UCL to study English Literature; Russell and James (pictured below) who achieved triple Distinction* and are excited about studying Sport and Exercise Science; and Ivor who achieved A grades in Sociology and History, and is now looking forward to studying History at university.

In the vocational results the average grade was Distinction - a fantastic outcome.

These results are impressive, but what is more important is what they mean in practical terms for each individual student; the results represent real life chances and show how learning can change lives.

Congratulations to all our students, their parents and our teachers who made these results possible.
