BRIT School Dance Workshop Inspires Students
GCSE Year 10 students and prospective GCSE students in Year 8 participated in an hour long dance workshop led by students from the BRIT school on Friday 3 July.
The workshop was delivered as part of the Brit School students' dance community project, which encourages and promotes boys in dance. The workshops were delivered by Year 12 male Brit School students across a broad range of strands including community arts practice, theatre, musical theatre and dance.
The boys devise, shape, choreograph and deliver the workshops which are aimed at a wide range of ages and hope to inspire and challenge boys within the local community.
Students from Harris Boys’ Academy East Dulwich thoroughly enjoyed the workshops and in particular loved learning new movement content and working with a different group of students. We look forward to working with the students again in the future.
