HBAED Donates 155 Pairs of Googles to NHS

HBAED has donated 155 pairs of safety googles (normally used by our Science and DT department) to the NHS to help prevent their staff contracting COVID-19.

Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Trust put out a call on Thursday to local schools who might have spare googles they didn't need. Principal Peter Groves delivered the googles in person yesterday.

"Our NHS staff are doing an incredible job, and HBAED is proud to do any small thing we can do to help keep them safe," said Mr Groves.

Harris Boys' Academy East Dulwich remains open to children whose parents are key workers, including NHS staff critical to the country's response to COVID-19.
