miMove App - Helping Students Get Physically Active Every Day

HBAED_Image_Gallery_15We are encouraging students to download miMove, a ground-breaking app that helps us support our boys to develop physical activity as part of their everyday lives.  

We want physical activity to become a normal part of our students' lives and are encouraging students and parents to download the miMovE app in order help make this happen.

How does it work?

MiMoveIt is very simple. Download the miMove app from AppStore or Google Play, or visit the miMove website. The app can be downloaded to multiple devices and we recommend having it on the parent/guardian’s device(s) as well as your child’s (if they have their own).

Enter the username and password that will be sent home shortly. You can change the password after the first log in.

When we see the activity data, we can analyse it to support students with their physical activity. We can also message your child through the app to support them. All messages are saved on our system and will go to all your registered devices. miMove comes with a built-in assessment tool so we can all share the progress your child makes in engaging with physical activity.

How will data be treated?

Your child’s data will be treated sensitively and will remain secure. Only your child, you and the authorised staff at school will have access to each individual’s data. Researchers and academics may use the data but will only have access to anonymous meta data from all users to further the development of physical education in schools.
