NHS Work Experience for Year 10 Boys
Hamza, Hasib, Lalloh and Daniel in Year 10 all completed virtual work experience with the NHS last week.
They learned about the different pathways into healthcare and how the NHS is managing the pandemic.
The boys greatly enjoyed the day and boosted their CVs in the process, helping to strenghten their eventual applications to work in the healthcare industry.
"I learnt about the world of nursing, and how there were many different areas where nurses are needed," said Daniel. "I also learnt about the requirements of becoming a nurse and how important their job is."
Daniel says he enjoyed being able to talk to the other participants about careers in nursing, and having the chance to ask many questions.
"I would like to work in the healthcare industry/sector in the future," he said. "I can work together with professional people and I can hopefully learn important skills that will help me later on."
