World Book Day - Thurs 4th March. Look What's Happening!
Thursday 4th March is World Book Day. So this week we are celebrating the wonderful world of books but moving it all online.
Meet author Chris Bradford
This week, Year 7 and Year 8 will have a virtual author visit from Chris Bradford, author of the very popular Young Samurai, Bodyguard and Bullet Catcher series, and will hear all about his new Soul Hunters book.
There are two competitions from Chris with prizes of books and posters and the chance for your name to appear in his next book!
The Soul Hunters (pictured) is available from our library in school.
World Book Day quiz - win £10 voucher

The World Book Day website has free audio books, quizzes, online events and reading suggestions, as well as video masterclasses with authors including Derek Landy, Katherine Rundell and Sita Brahmachari, sharing their writing tips and ideas.
World Book Day tokens
All students in years 7 – 9 will receive their World Book Day tokens when they return to school from 8 March and these can be exchanged in local supermarkets and bookshops for one of this year’s free World Book Day books. The voucher period will be extended this year until all shops have reopened.
