Year 12 Visit University Fair At Tottenham Hotspur Stadium
Forty of our Year 12 students visited the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the London Spring 2022 University Fair earlier this month.
The event was the perfect way for students to speak to representatives of all the UK universities and give them a clearer insight into which university or apprenticeship is right for them.
This exciting and informative event provided our students with the opportunity to speak to many universities, including Russell Group, Red Brick, Specialist and Modern Universities. Students were also offered the chance to talk to the various UK’s best apprenticeship providers, HE colleges, specialist institutions, and student-related organisations. The fair catered for students of all abilities and aims to widen participation as well as cater for higher academic achievers.
“The event was outstanding, and the venue provided a more exciting and inspirational backdrop,” said Mr. Chan, Associate Assistant Principal for Sixth Form/ICT. "Our students found it all informative, and teachers enjoyed it too! We will be back for future events."
What students said…..
“It was a great opportunity for us to visit this great stadium but most importantly have the opportunity to see different universities and what they have to offer.” Jordy, Year 12
“It was good to meet university reps face to face rather than online. I feel more prepared now and have a better understanding of which universities I will apply for.” Faisa, Year 12
“The university trip was useful as it allowed me to meet various universities. For example, I am interested in studying Theatre Studies at uni but was unsure if any targeted that subject. The trip allowed me to see various theatre schools such as MetFilm and the University of Bristol. What I particularly enjoyed about the trip was the venue.” Josiah, Year 12
