Year 13 Inspired By Visit To PwC Central London Offices
Fifteen of our Year 13s had the opportunity to visit the PwC offices in the heart of London this April.
This valuable opportunity gave students an insight into working life at one of the biggest firms in the world.
The PwC trip experience was unique, informative, and opened students’ minds. As soon as our students walked into the More London offices, they were already in awe of the building, structure, and location.
We entered the building and went up to the 7th floor to first meet with Charles Samuel, a PwC partner in the firm. The meeting room was spectacular, with Tower Bridge and the Thames views.
Charles talked about how he started and what made him want to work in the industry. He spoke about many benefits that come with working for one of the biggest firms in the world, one of them is being able to travel to 34 different countries for work purposes.
The students then moved into two groups with some of the other PwC staff, where they discussed topics such as CV, personal brand, their strengths/weaknesses and how we can improve their ‘development points’.
Our students then had the opportunity to experience the frontier lab, which is the state-of-the-art media conference room, to watch videos from PwC graduates about their experiences and the different apprenticeship and university leaver opportunities they had to offer.
What an excellent opportunity for our students!! We want to thank Nikki, Garvin, Callum and Charles from PwC for making this trip happen.
