Travel & Tourism
Our curriculum intent for Travel and Tourism is to engage students in the world of travel and give them a flavour of what it could be like to work within the industry.
Students are given the opportunity to professionally present work that is directly related to jobs within the sector. They are expected to use their imagination to engage and excite customers.
It gives them the opportunity to achieve excellent academic outcomes in a rigorous qualification whilst building Active Citizenship skills in almost every task. The practical nature of the course means that students are constantly learning about the wider world around them, ever broadening their cultural understanding.
Travel and Tourism is only studied during Key Stage 4.
