Feeling Safe and Happy at Harris Dulwich Boys - Survey Results
We are pleased with the results of a recent questionnaire which gave students the chance to comment on how safe and happy they felt on the way to and from school.
The vast majority of students reported that they feel safe and happy while at school.
- 100% knew that if they are worried about anything in school they can report it to the Safeguarding Team
- 86% agreed or strongly agreed that teachers make it clear that discrimination and/or abusive behaviours are not acceptable and deal with incidents
- 91% agreed that staff have high expectations of student behaviour and challenge students if they don't meet these expectations
- 93% of students said they felt safe all or most of the time
“I am delighted that the vast majority of our students feel safe and happy while at school," said Mr Ingham, Vice Principal, and our Designated Safeguarding Lead. "We will continue to talk to students to understand their experiences and work to make them even better every day."
