Year 10 Meet 'All Roads' Actors at Theatre Peckham
Year 10 GCSE Drama students recently went to Theatre Peckham to see Roy Williams' play All Roads, which explores difficult relationships, mental health and future aspirations, and was performed by two fantastic actors.
The performance was powerful and engaging and the students were captivated from start to finish. The actors gave strong and convincing performances which helped to bring the characters and their struggles to life. The use of lighting and sound was also particularly effective in creating an immersive experience for the audience.
After the performance, the students took part in a post-show discussion with the actors. This allowed them to gain further insight into the play's themes and ask questions about the production process and careers in acting. It was clear that the students had engaged deeply with the play and had a lot to say about the issues it raised.
Overall, the visit was a great success and the students gained valuable insights into the issues explored. The play was a thought-provoking and moving experience that will stay with them for a long time.
