Athletics Team are Harris Regional Champions!

Our HBAED Year 7-10 athletics team travelled to the Harris Regional Athletics Qualifiers to represent the academy against other Harris academies yesterday. We are delighted to announce we returned to school with FOUR trophies:

  • Year 7 Team Winners
  • Year 8 Team Winners
  • Year 10 Team Winners
  • Overall School Competition Winners!

HBAED Athletics Team[96]

In total our team won 15 Gold Medals, 10 Silver Medals and 9 Bronze Medals. This is a fantastic achievement from all the students involved, who represented our school superbly throughout.

They have been working extremely hard over the past three weeks at Athletics training sessions at Southwark Park and have shown a real desire to improve upon their event.

Can I add a massive thank you to the rest of the PE department for their dedication and hard work throughout the last three weeks to make a result like this happen.
