Harris Boys' Hosts Foreign Languages Spelling Bee

We had an amazing experience recently as we hosted ten Harris Schools who visited us to take part in a Foreign Languages Spelling Bee.

Students were able to showcase their spelling talent in various languages such as Italian, Spanish, French and Chinese.

It was a challenging, brainstorming and mind-blowing competition for all participants. HBAED boys stood tall and proud to get to the finals in this year’s nail-biting competition in French, Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.

Big congratulations to our student representatives from Years 7, 8 and 9: Jedidiah, Oliver, Luca, Keanu-Machivelli, Nihar, Gianlica, Nazim, Anis, Muhammed and Alassane.

The hard work paid off as Oliver beat off some stiff competition to not only win the Year 7 Spanish round, but the overall Spanish trophy against competitors from other academies in years 8 and 9, cheered on by his teammates! We will have the first Spelling Bee trophy in our collection!
