Year 9 Learn About Construction with MACE

Year 9 went on a construction visit earlier this month hosted by MACE, one of the UK's largest construction firms, at one of London's major development sites. 

The former Daily Telegraph and Goldman Sachs Headquarters is now being transformed into an office development at a cost of over £100 million and the boys received a guided tour around the site. They had to wear full protective clothing including googles, gloves, steel toe cap boots and high viz jackets throughout the inspection.

MACE also gave a great overview of the construction industry and all the potential careers opportunities in this sector. It was a really interesting visit which highlighted several careers within the UK and the potential to travel internationally.
