7-2 Victory in Year 8 Friendly Versus Harris Clapham

FootballHBAED’s latest game of the season was a friendly against Harris Clapham in our local Peckham Rye Park. Match report by Jacob.

The game started evenly with both teams pushing for the first goal, but the battle came to an end as HBEAD created the opener making the score 1-0. Harris Clapham hit back with a great goal which equalised the score. 1-1.

Just before the end of  the first half a great team goal put us in front before the whistle.  2-1. This made us feel much more comfortable going into our talk with Mr Edwards and Mr Cassells.

We felt lucky going into the second half on top and we started with a strong spirit, but we conceded a penalty to an unlucky challenge in the box.  2.2….game on! The score stayed even for the majority of the second half, but a hard-earned breakthrough made the score 3-2….then the flood gates opened!

And then we were all go!  The goals didn’t stop there!

And 7-2 at the final whistle.  Well done to the whole team and especially Jahmarni, our man of the match. This is his second MOTM in his new position of centre back. Keep it up Jahmarni!
