Year 10 Complete Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award

Fifty two HBAED Year 10 students proudly received their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh's Awards on Tuesday 12th November.

The students showed resilience and determination to complete their three sections (volunteering, physical and skill) and successfully completed a two-day expedition where they navigated independently across 15km of countryside before setting up camp and cooking their own evening meal.

The next day brought a further 14km hike to the finish point; students carried their own equipment whilst hiking and were self-sufficient for two days. The students showed great maturity, communication skills and team-work to complete the award.
