Workplace Visits - How They Benefit Our Students
Workplace visits are a vital part of what we offer to our students.
In addition to the fantastic teaching and learning that takes place in the classroom, visits to different workplaces are very important because they help students to:
- gain insights into a range of different careers through workplace visits
- and broaden their cultural experiences through trips to museums, galleries and theatres, for example.
Here are some photos from recent workplace visits to The Langham (a five-star hotel in central London) and Squire Patton Boggs (a leading international law firm), which show how our students rise to the occasion when given a platform to showcase their talent.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who has been helping with organising and taking students on various trips and workplace visits. This forms a vital part of what we offer our students.
Click HERE to see a short LinkedIn video produced during one of our previous law firm visits to Norton Rose Fulbright, which highlights the importance of "bridging the gap" between the world of schools and work.
Could you help us organise a workplace visit?
We would like to further broaden the range of opportunities that are available to our students. Please reach out to your networks and let me know if there are more places that we could take our students for workplace visits and trips. Similarly, please also let me know if you have contacts who would be happy to come to our school to deliver talks, workshops or assemblies.
