Economist at the Bank of England Visits HBAED

We were delighted to welcome Brandon Kengmana, Economist at the Bank of England, to our school recently.

As part of our Personal Development and Careers programme, we regularly invite external speakers to deliver assemblies and workshops.

Brandon provided an overview of the financial services sector and explained the history and role of the Bank of England. Students also enjoyed the interactive discussion on a range of topics including currencies, interest rates, inflation and the impact of technology.

He also shared his own personal career journey and experience of working at the Bank of England and talked about different career opportunities in the sector.
