Ishaac's Library Origami Egg Hunt
Year 7 student Ishaac, a keen and talented origami creator, proposed the idea for an Easter Egg hunt in the library.
Ishaac diligently made 26 eggs including three trophy eggs, all with individual personalities and decoration. One egg was wearing a tie and carrying a bag, while another sported a splendid cape.
Together with librarian Ms Edwards, Ishaac designed clues that took students on a trail around the library to find ten precious origami eggs.
While completing the egg hunt, students made discoveries about important authors, classic books and different genres.
Every entrant won a cookie, and three lucky students won chocolate Easter eggs. Ishaac is already planning next year's Easter Egg hunt!
