Careers and Employability Training

Our
Most Able students were given the opportunity to participate in one of the Federations
careers and employability training sessions at the end of last term.
The session aimed to improve student’s knowledge of how to become ‘employable’ after their education, and what attributes they would need for certain careers.

The session was inspirational for our young students and gave them all a distinctive outline of what they should be aiming to achieve in order to progress towards their chosen career.
The session was interactive and all students were able to work within a mix of year groups. Students worked collaboratively to gain a better understanding of their own personal skills and attributes, and how they link directly to their aspirations and potential careers.
Some of the responses from students really highlighted the talent at HBAED and the professionalism of our students.
A huge thank you to the Federation for coming to HBAED to run the session and to the students who attended and made the session worthwhile for all involved.
