Faculty Friday - Year 9 Football
The passion and quality of football we've seen in previous weeks failed to subside as we entered week three of Faculty Friday.
It was all to play for following the opening two matches, with a dead heat between Active Science and Creative Voice following a 2-1 win for World Studies over Enterprise.
Quality
Whilst the competitive spirit remained palpable from match to match, the quality of World Studies slowly began to rise to the surface, neatly slotting four past Active Science in what proved to be a decisive seven minutes of play.
With Creative Voice requiring points on the board to stay in what was now a two horse race, they failed to seal the deal against Enterprise, with a 0-0 stalemate putting their overall chances in to contention.
Stunner
All now being up for grabs, World Studies entered in to the match of the day as they saw the title potentially slide from their grasp at the hands of a spirited Creative Voice side who brought drama to the sports hall with a last minute winner in a 3-2 stunner.
The aforementioned stalemate against Enterprise ended up proving to be the downfall of Creative Voice, ending up one point short of the six required to draw level with deserved winners, World Studies.
A special mention goes to Enterprise, who finished of the day with a 5-1 drubbing of Active Science.
