Ofsted Commends our Sixth Form Results
Harris Boys’ Academy East Dulwich has received a fantastic Ofsted report that commends our Sixth Form results from 2017. The report says that:
- Value added was significantly above average and in the top 10% for AS levels and Applied general.
- Value added was significantly above average and in the top 10% for AS levels with a prior attainment GCSE grade of a C.
- Value added was significantly above average and in the top 10% for Applied general learners with prior attainment GCSE grade of a C.
- 83% of students improved their GCSE English grade from what they achieved in Year 11 – this far exceeds the 34% that achieve this nationally.
- 67% of students achieved a C or higher in their GCSE English resit course – this far exceeds the 22% that achieve this nationally.
- 75% of students improved their GCSE Mathematics grade from what they achieved in Year 11 – this far exceeds the 37% that achieve this nationally.
- 50% of students achieved a C or higher in their GCSE Mathematics resit course – this far exceeds the 18% that achieve this nationally.
