Sadiq Kahn invites HBAED to be 'Shining Example'
Mayor of London Sadiq Kahn has invited HBAED to join the Schools for Success programme for a second year in a row.
We're one of only 46 schools across London invited to join the initiative, which is designed to help top performing schools like ours share their experience and ideas with other schools in the capital, for two years running.
HBAED has been particularly praised for making excellent progress with students who start behind their peers at the start of Year 7.
Inviting us to join the programme, Sadiq Kahn congratulated our teachers, support staff and governors and said he hoped we would be "a shining example to others of what can be achieved".
Schools for Success is part of the Mayor's drive to help tackle education inequality and increase standards for all schoolchildren across the capital, whatever their background.
The programme creates a network for schools to share best practice with others through events, school visits and online profiles. We are one of just 46 schools in the capital to have been invited to join the programme for two years in a row.
