Year 10 Careers Day 2019 with DWP and Harper Collins

Our Careers Day for Year 10 gave boys the chance to create their own CVs and cover letters, as well as benefitting from interview skills and apprenticeship workshops with employees from the Department for Work and Pensions.

In the afternoon, employees from Harper Collins led a panel discussion (pictured above) on careers in graphic design, editing and publishing. The boys greatly enjoyed the session.

"I'm going to contact the company directly to find out more about their apprenticeships,” said Connor, Year 10. Michael, also Year 10, commented: “I found it really interesting to find out more about graphic design and would love to do this for my Year 10 Work Experience.”
