Sixth Formers Take to the Water at Cowes

UKSA 2015A small crew of Sixth Form students travelled to Cowes recently to a world renowned sailing and water sports centre, home of the world’s most famous international regatta and synonymous with sporting excellence.

This unique environment challenged our students to step out of their comfort zone by taking to the water in a number of challenging water sports which included kayaking, canoeing, wind surfing, dinghy and raft building.

The weekend was exhilarating, exciting and the weather was perfect!

UKSA has a diverse range of exciting career courses to choose from up to degree level.

‘Even though it was tough & stressful and hard work I had an amazing time,’ said Esmond Anane Sixth form student.

Harris Sixth form provides many opportunities, expert career pathway guidance, and has a strong and powerful network, close links to the best universities in the country. This visit is one of the many opportunities provided at Harris Sixth Form East Dulwich.
