"Waste Not, Want Not" - Year 7 Term 3B Homework Project

Waste Not Want NotYear 7 have a homework project they can really get involved with and inspired by, for the rest of term 3b - in addition to the English and Maths homework tasks and online tasks of Bedrock, Hegarty Maths and Vocab Express.

We have taken the theme of "Waste Not, Want Not", which links in with our school and Federation-wide focus on reducing our waste, recycling and having a positive impact on our community.

We have set three project-based tasks for Year 7, which will encourage boys to be active, creative, involved their community (friends, family or wider community) and learn through exploring recycling and sustainability.

  • DT: Week by week guide to creating a mechanical car.
  • Science: Promote and learn more about recycling through producing informative posters or pieces of writing.
  • PE: MiMove logging of physical exercise - using exercise to travel around, not relying on transport and reducing our carbon footprint.
