Sixth Form Computer Science with St Andrew's University

Harris Sixth Form East Dulwich were thrilled to attend an exclusive STEM event this week in collaboration with St. Andrew’s University, the UK's 4th ranked university according to the Complete University Guide 2023.

Students were treated to a series of computer science-focused lectures. The event was tailored to empower students with insights into studying computer science at university and navigating the competitive admissions process.

The emphasis this year is on computer science and entry into competitive universities. This event serves as a valuable platform for students to bolster their confidence, deepen their understanding of university-level computer science studies, and glean insights into optimising their wider learning experiences.

Importantly, students gained an inside perspective on the university admissions process, equipping them with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their academic journey. Expert staff from the top-ranked university were on hand to answer specific questions, providing valuable guidance to our aspiring computer scientists.
