Celebrating Literacy - Promising Year 11 Writer, Kieran
Earlier this term we proudly celebrated the achievements of our student writers' success.
One such writer is Kieran, Year 11 (pictured), whose monumental achievements include winning publication in several books and the grand prize in a poetry competition.

Patricia Smith, our Resources Manager/Librarian contacted Penguin Books to enquire about opportunities to showcase young writers. See their response below.
We join Penguin Random House in wishing Keiran all the best for his future writing.
Good afternoon, Patricia
Thank you for taking the time to contact Penguin Random House UK with your query relating to your student Keiran's writing.
From time to time there are writing competitions and other opportunities run by us and other organisations, please see the link for more information: https://www.penguin.co.uk/articles/company-article/writing-prizes-and-opportunities. So, this is a way to showcase some of his work.
We wish Keiran all the best with his writing and hope he continues to excel in it. It’s so lovely for him to have such great support from you at school.
With kind regards
Maria
