Raising Aspirations - Army Careers Talk For Sixth Form

Army 3On the 23rd of March, during our Post 16 assembly, Captain Barton and Victoria Dwyer from the Army came to talk to our students about a potential pathway within the Army.

They provided us with an insight into the different careers in the Army. Jobs from Combat to HR, and from Finance to Music or Engineering.

Victoria then spoke about the excellent benefits of joining the Army, like the different schemes they offer, such as their degree apprenticeship, scholarships and internships. 

Captain Barton, commented: “Opportunities like these where we can come in and speak with the students are great. Not only does it tie in perfectly with their studies, but it gives them the opportunity to ask us any questions they have. Today’s assembly not only appealed to those interested in the Army but it provided skills to those that are looking for a job in public services.”
