Welcome to Our New Year 7s Starting in 2025
Congratulations and welcome to Harris Boys’ Academy East Dulwich.
I am delighted that your son/ward has been allocated his chosen place at our Outstanding Academy for September 2025.
In November 2023, our Academy was judged Outstanding by Ofsted in all areas. The new framework is much tougher than before, and the inspectors were blown away by the academic achievement here as well as the pastoral care and personal development curriculum.
Behaviour of the students was described as ‘exemplary’ and teachers were described as ‘passionate experts in their subjects’. Only 15% of all schools remain Outstanding and we are pleased to be in this elite group. However, our greatest achievement last year was our incredible GCSE outcomes.
With a Progress 8 score of +0.98, our academy was officially ranked the 89th best school in the country (out of over 4,000). We were the best non-selective boys' school in the whole country, an achievement we are extremely proud of and one only possible because of the skill and professionalism of our wonderful staff, hard work of the students and support from parents.
